wow, what a month already!!
You know I totally take God for granted sometimes and then a month like this happens and you go wow!!How great is our God!!
Im sorry but there is no other God like this, a God who can sustain you through major illness whilst doing holiday clubs, a God who gives you the words to speak when you are so tired all you want to do is curl up, a God who cares and provides for you and gives you hope when you think - how on earth am I going to get out of this one!
Let me start at the beginning....

The 20th March saw my new niece come into the world, this is her at 3 weeks, isnt she gorgeous! Here is my bro and his family, cant get over saying that sentence, he's so grown up!!
Seeing a new life puts everything into perspective!

We had our holiday club, it was my first one that I had run by myself and always wonder if I was trusted a bit more at NM would this kinda stuff be easier but through our weaknesses and uncertainties God shines out, and he totally did during this week. I was exhusted with throat, ear and goodness knows what other infections, and had to make 8am meetings and organising this holiday club. Together we put a holiday club together from scratch, I think its actually easier doing it this way but its exhusting!!
Anyway Monday was a killer, but we got through it. I was drugged up and had stashes of tissues all over the place incase I needed them, and I can honestly say I have never had more fun - yes it was stressful but the team were awesome. They really pulled together and we had 90kids in each day and had 30 leaders ranging from 12-60+ it was fab!! Our theme was pirates - check it out...

Easter was great in a way but I was in the emergency doctors for easter sun!haha, oh well. My body was saying, enough is enough, still getting over it but Im more or less back to health.

Yesterday was a full on day but one I thoroughly enjoyed! And again was quite shattered after and still had the older group to go. I had done some prep but just wanted to flop, wasnt ready for a flat full of young people - we were going through the last chapters of ecclesiastes, and wondered where will this takes us!
The study didnt need much leading from me, they began to answer each others questions and interpreations, and they got some fantastic practical applications. We looked at guidence and what discernment is all about etc. It wasnt until prayer time that some thing dawned on me. I have leeaders, visionaries, super gifted worship leaders in my flat and I began crying!! Ah, me crying!! They were praying such wonderful prayers to God and these are truely women of God and my prayer is that they hold tightly on to him as we have had a few drifters recently.
Here are some of them - they make me laugh so much, they are fab!!

And lastly today...got a whoohaa from my car, got to have it fixed, like totally repaired, clutch, brakes, lights, wheels, MOT and tax Ahhhhhhhhgh! I said to myself coming into the office, Im off to rome next week and I have no money to pay for this,or to pay for anything at the mo! its gonna be messy!!Found an envelope on my desk with £300 cash in it?!Saying from St Marys church family - treat yourself! WOW, so im off to convert some of it into euros!And the rest can be put towards my car. And that has been my month!!

Today im off, so was gonna brave the public transport and head into MK maybe see a film then I have coffee with a friend, and time to start packing for Rome!!
Remember when things get you down keep on going because He is our sustainer, provider, carer, our strength and guide :)

Keeping on top of things - verse for the month is Eph 3:20-21 Sometimes we put God in our own whats possible and not possible box, I have seen so many disruptive and difficult children achieve great things during our kids club on saturdays. They are still very noisy, but they all leave the church beaming - How awesome is our God, keep asking for the impossible...

Have nearly finished writing for the new SU notes, once you get into them its quite easy, dont know if they will properly use them yet!? but it was a great experience meeting the SU team and being asked to write for them - so you never know you might be handing out young people's notes with my name in it! Eeeek, thats kinda scary! I appologise now...

We are currently doing a study on Ecclesiastes, which continues to make me laugh and find my self going - thats so true! Read that Ecclesiastes is like a biblical Eeore (winnie the poo kind...) or maybe im just as cynical....hmmmm

My brothers baby is due in 3-5 days! Eeeeek, its so scary thinking that there is going to be a mini rob running around the place - he is doing really well though, got a new job and is really stepping up to fatherhood so dispite the circumstances we are proud of him.

Well I feel I have done the 24, the prison break, there is only one left to post at the mo - im sorry Alan - but prison break is moving at a better speed than lost but we are still loving it so here a wonderful picture of the gang to complete my set :)

Why is it that all things seem to come at once!?

This week has been really good, am starting to feel the strain of holiday club though - this week saw me photocopying 1800 forms and flyers, putting them into groups of 30 (although the guy in the office helped with that part - thank you colin!) and then went round to the 9 primary schools which is fun, but takes up a whole morning!

'Just keep swimming' i think is my words of wisdom today!

wow a lot has gone through my head this month, one being that although being single is fantastic its very dangerous cos all i do is watch tv when im in :s which is making me lazy....hmmm!!!!!

Went to the soul survivor in watford, am always quite reluctant in going and I think i figured out why - I dont want to look weak, and sometimes during these things when they ask you to go up to the front I think that people will go -Oooh she has problems! hehe. Anyway....The guy speaking was fantastic, the music was fantastic, it was purely about God and his voice and im so glad we all went. We all had to sort stuff out, for me it was realising that just because things are ticking away nicely doesnt mean that I'm all sorted with God. The dude was talking about Jacob and his wrestling with God. he was saying that its ok to be a loser (like jacob in the end)because God is the winner, and as we are with God..... he also mentioned that God struck jacob's hip and the idea of jacob then having to rely on a crutch (so to speak) and how as people we can get quite controlling of our lives and that God needs to be our crutch. How I apply this is easier said than done...im still working on that, but something was started on sunday, so that was cool :)

I am currently on a break this week! yay, back at home with mum and dad which has been very nice. Brought my laptop up with me so I can work on some stuff. went for a walk kinda along the beach, and a swim at the local pool - have not done that for ages!! like 6,7 yrs or so!!hehe, my arms were aching sooo much!

Slightly nervous about what I am going to go back to on fri....we have started out holiday club planning, and am organising two weekends away, so my week will include the normal stuff plus writing dramas, reg forms, etc! eeek, but we love it!! lol

what a great programe - sure its slighlty unrealistic, but it does keep you on your toes!

So whats been going on, lots of politics, more than I thought I would get here, am developing a thick skin and quickly! but its been going well - My review went well, had some great reports - it was a little embarassing!! some people continued to be negative and petty which is draining, but things are ok.

36 hours till ground zero - our church coming together, for a 'celebration' I am really looking forward to it think it will be great time for everyone! we can grow stronger this way i think, so we will see who turns up!

We have a social tonight, dvd and pizza night, which is quite good as its been busy lately.
Have started the after school club - 17 of them! Eeek, we are doing creation which has proved to be a good start!
Went to a writers meeting for SU yesterday as well, and they are starting up new bible reading notes for the 'OneUp' age, called SUBmerge and I will be writing in it! How cool is that!! look out here I come! hehe

We are going bowling this weekend as well with the young people which again is great - its good to have these times away from the church buildings and just mess around!

Leave a message so I know there are some people out there who care -if anything answer this question - who would win out of a fight between spiderman and inspector gadget??? it has been an ongoing debate....hehe

WOW, 2 months have passed since my last confession...I mean blog, I dont know if people still read this but hey it's good for the soul, so will keep on with unloading everything.
Rather than go through all of dec, will just blog what i have been upto recently, which can be summed up in one word -MEETINGS! Ahhh dont we love 'em! I have nothing against them, but sometimes feel I would much rather be going out doing the things that are being talked about when sometimes conversations can go round in circles and you come to the end of the meeting and think 'did we actually have a conclusion to that issue??' Yuck, nah much rather plan, and get out there and DO SOMETHING!

This week has been the week for short tempered folk to blow off steam at me, which I know sort of comes with the job, I can understand it if I were working in burger king, or the filling station (terrible food, dont go there) but when you are trying your best for the good of the children and young people - IN A CHURCH!, people have ago at you for something - and it always conflicts, so you cant get anything right no matter which way you do it! Why does this always happen in a church context - I am puzzled and slightly unhappy.
I got a telling off by a church parent because we opened the doors to dream factory 5mins late - Oh Im so sorry, I thought maybe homelessness, war or child prostitution was a worse cosmic catastrophie but clearly I was wrong - Its opening doors to a comfy club 5mins late - terribly sorry. LADY! GET SOME PERSPECTIVE!!

Positive things though have been that a parent came up and thanked me for the work I have been doing with his sons age group, which I thought was lovely, as that doesnt happen often.
Had a great coffee and shopping trip with a young person yesterday after dream factory, Mmmm hot chocolate and shopping, what more can you do to unwind from the day. It was really great as I dont get to see her often so I was really encouraged with that.
This week sees the first week of our after school club at Cold Harbour Primary School. We are calling it Extream! and will start off as a taster session, to see how many people turn up, and what they think of it. So will have to think up some crafts, games and lessons for creation, as I think thats a good a place to start as any!

So thats about it apart from the biggest thing i need to deal with this week... MY REVIEW, dun, dun, daaaaa. I have been assured that I am keeping my job, although I have had a run in with two of the people who will be speaking about me, but hey, stuff happens. Quite nervous as they will be speaking about me to my boss with me in the room, guess its kinda like parents evening, but with my job on the line -Eeeek.

Some thing to look forward to iS the childrens ministry conference that is happening this weekend - should be fab - Eastbourne in the winter, great stuff!!hehe, love these things, get loads of freebies! lol

So thats the low down on my adventures this month so far in bletchley.

Its funny how the weeks go so quickly... the wedding went fine - was so glad i went. Had a little ARRRRGH on the way back as it was dark and didnt think I would need to see my directions!! Ooops, got back ok though!

What have I been up to... Got into a better daily pattern. If I am working in the evenings, I kinda have a lazy morning, its good that i dont have internet at home as I would be on it 24/7 and not sure thats helpful.

I guess the most interesting thing I have done is go to the youth work conference - it was fab - Caught some of rob bells stuff, got a couple of noomas :)

The main sessions this year we thought were top notch, great stuff, although the seminars were ok, i think last years had more choice and they seemed to be better, but still a great weekend, all the volunteers sorted somethings out, and we are going to have a reflection night about tonight, so will see how many turn up! People give so much of thier time so can understand if they cant make it.

This week it has been the normal rat race, but with a terrifing difference! My weekend is CRAZY - more than normal! I think I am still in a state of shock that panic hasnt quite set in!! I begin my saturday with Dream Factory which is a small feat in its self every week! I then go straight in to band practice - Eeeek, and Im playing drums! We are having a huge youth event, kinda like catalyst and its at our church this time - never been done before, so we are having a cafe style. Will be good, but have to sort out quiz things, aaargh its stresses me out thinking about it. but not only do I have to play, I am also doing the main talk :s

This weekend also includes taking sunday school lessons in one church, and helping with rehearsals in the other church, as well as fitting in more band practices - Were does the time go for prep!? Good question! Please pray, this is gonna be a tough one!

On the upside films have been my refuge (as well as major prayer and God of course!)
Went to see 007 when it came out - great stuff!!It seemed to loose something though, not sure what it was, but i thought daniel craig was very good, maybe a bit wooden in some places, but am looking forward to the next one.

A surprise recomendation for the week - and those who know me will laugh, but i am being serious!! Its really good!!
A film called 'Step Up' thought it would be a silly, sappy kinda film, but they mix the instrumental/classical stuff with the rap and r&b sooooo well, acting could be better but the dancing and the feel of the film was great! A great opening scene as well, thumbs up!

Well I should grab some food -

this is what we are doing a service on in the next couple of weeks - its gonna be a radical change to what they are use to! hehe

At the mo, i am in the office munching on some melon, its been a slow week, but thats fine with me!has meant some lie ins which i think i'm owed!

Some unexpected good news - my bro has the week off, so hopefully he is gonna come over to milton keynes for some shopping! Its my day off tomorrow as well, so we are going to met up, and i'll take him back to thame :s SCARY! but i need all the practice I can get as it looks like I have to drive up to norwich alone for a wedding, and drive back in the dark, Eeek -I have NO IDEA WHERE I AM GOING!

Got the youth group tonight, should be good! we have almost finished our study on revelation - its been really great, i have enjoyed it, think they have too, so thumbs up all round!

Yesterday was pretty relaxed, as far as sundays go. We took the young people to the fireworks display in Milton Keyenes, it was a lot of fun, they have a wonderful sense of humour... The fair was also there, which we all thought was very cool, and a craving for candy floss soon set in. Once the fireworks had finished, it seems everyone got the same idea and 10,000 (what seemed like 10,000) people all went into the fair and every fast food joint there was! Not so enjoyable... we decided to escape and went to macdonalds insdead, which was cool :)

Feeling calm on the outside, its kinda my day off, but.... inside quite stressed.

Was great having time off last week, but the amount that piled up, and things that need to be sorted out...feel like im constantly trying to catch up! But its ok, im enjoying it - had a good chat with my line manager, and feel iam getting into this role a lot quicker than previous roles - feels like I have been here for ages!! hehe

Its been a while since my last post - let me fill you in on some of my adventures.... (thumbs up to those who make it through - sorry its a long one!)

decided that although I feel I am quite a positive person, and the sun has been shining, my clothes have gone quite dark, and so went on a little shopping spree with a very good friend of mine in watford, was a lot of fun, its only 30mins by train so I think we are gonna try and meet up a lot more.

For the last couple of weeks, we have been doing a childrens and youth presentation to the congregations at st marys and st johns, each one was very different. The children and young people really got involved, think we are gonna try and get them more involved in the music groups as some of them are fab!

On the 23rd I travelled over 400 or so miles up to glasgow - it was on this trip that I realised I was truly a film geek, as I was able to identify which film someone was watching by the starting music as the beginning of the film! eeek!

Went into icc - wow that place hasnt changed, it still smells of damp and bleech hehe, but it was great seeing folk again. Its odd thinking that people you knew well have seperate lives from you now. Linda took us to her place - its actually quite big! Had a lovely evening in with an indian (no, not josh, the food kind), and xmen 3 and chocs - Ahhhh, what a nice b'day :)

Went off to mum and dads for the rest of the week. We got a chinese (can you see a pattern here...) and hung out which was cool,
Went shopping again with mum, and then had to start thinking about packing up to go back to glasgow.
Met up with G, had a very good curry! and managed to get through a lot of lemonades!!Josh and henry joined us for a bit and then I got a lift with linda back to hers for the weekend.
We went to the craft show at the secc which was MASSIVE, im quite glad I had to leave early as I had already spent a lot for the hour and a bit I was there for! hehe
Met up with rebekah, was really good to catch up with her and to see how things at college was going.
Ended the evening with going back to my second home - (cineworld) saw the guardian - would recommed it. And it is true that its like a coastguard version of topgun, they even have those famous sunglasses in there!

Spent all of sunday at NMBC, was really good to go back there and to see folk again. I am glad to say that things have moved, met the new trainee, he seems very enthusiastic in what he is doing, so thats good. :)
Went back to MK on the monday, and went straight into a meeting - was ok
and then my week has been more or less none stop since then :)

This week is gonna be a good one - I am doing the 9.15 and 11am services in the main church (st marys) this sunday Eeek, should be good. we are doing a childrens and youth presentation but it is starting to require a lot of prep!! It will be great, but I have to work out my little 'sermon' bit aswell as all the other bits!
I also have to try and work out a bible study for revelation 4-6ish - anyone got any ideas??

Tomorrow I am heading off on a little train adventure - to a place just outside of slough for a networking day with the rest of the youth workers and ministers from around the area - again it should be good, but am aware that it will take out a whole days worth of prep for the evening and for sat which is not ideal, but it doesnt happen often so will just have to work late tomorrow!!

Braved MK again and have just come back from the wonderfully large, and very empty cineworld in MK. Its great almost having a screen to my self! Went to see hoodwinked

as its nearly finishing, does not even come close to ice age or shrek, but it was still good - a very good spin on why the wolf was in grannys clothes. And if anyone is familiar with 'Less than Perfect' try and see which voice matches with the little 'cute' bunny! Awww.
Also wanted to see the departed, but it looks quite heavy and a bit brutal so am thinking might save that for a not so sunny day.

Well I am totally in the thick of it now! And although stress levels are rising, I wouldnt want it any other way. I had my induction/comissioning this weekend, it was quite emotional. Some of my friends from Thame came over, my parents were down for the wedding so they stayed with me for a while so it was fab having folk there, and it was a really nice service, there were loads of youth, and so many folk from the church came out to 'wish me well' so that was great.

This weekend was a busy one - we had our first cafe night - was great, cool lighting and great music.
I then braved going down to chalfont st giles for a wedding my sister was a bridesmaid, they looked awesome!
Came back for a barn dance which I totally loved and is very ironic, the whole time I was up in scotland I tried to aviod Ceilidhs like the plague as I had no idea what to do and stuck out like a sore thumb as english as I didnt know the end song and the dances. Down here we are all just as clueless, but I was more in the know and remembered some steps etc, so I had great fun jumping around with the youth!! hehe
We then had our harvest all age service and then my induction in the evening :)

I am again on my day off and I have just been to the cinema! Wow its been a long time but felt like home!! (this is the cineworld at milton keynes)

There were 10 of us in this huge screen, nice... went to see children of men (need to catch up with the icc folk). Was a very good film, I would give it 3 and a half gold stars out of 5. Kept you on your seat, although a bit brutal with people getting shot all the time, but it was all done really well. thought about doing a whole day at the cinema, but felt I would have a bit of time online at the office before I go home. :)

What does this week hold for me... tomorrow I am goin in to the secondary school with the bridgebuilder trust, they are linked with SU which is cool. Other admin, but I seriously need to get my study on revelations sorted as we have a bible study in the evening - thats good fun. The guys come early now as the discovered the ps2, hehe. we have a lot of fun!

The rest of the week is prep and admin for sat! yay, I look forward to this day, 8am starts and 90 screaming kids!
I will look like this by christmas.....

Today is my day off, and like always you have a terrible nagging in the back of your mind that registers still need to be done, task lists, emails and ordering material and phoning people still need to be done BUT I'am going to refrain :) Today is a me day, and im going to explore...

Yesterday was a day I have the feeling is going to be the same every week - meetings, they are needed and yet Mondays are a day that need so much to be done and nothing really happens! Ah well, it should get better once the school work starts up :)

Sunday was the first day we had the groups start back, it was good, a little overwhelming there are a lot of young people - we had a bbq in the evening, it was a gorgeous day perfect weather. Speaking of weather.... at s.s we had little zack (marks son,) and he went around asking what our names were, I told him and he smiled and went on his way. At dinner in front of the whole group we were chatting and he came out with - Kathryn Featherwair HAHAHA it was so cute, so now when I come into the room I am called anything from Fairweather/Weatherfair, or featherwair - Heehe, Oh well....

Hopefully will be getting a car soon, just need to sort out a few things. Walking is all very good and I dont mind it, but sometimes you just want to throw all your files and papers in the car and just go!!

Well thats it for now, should be heading up to glasgow on the 23rd! Yay, thats something to look forward to! :)

Still looking at 1 corinthians, cant seem to get my head out of it, some really inspiring stuff, for those reading this... 'be strong and steady, always enthusiastic about the Lords work, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless...' 1 cor 15:58 - totally awesome, thats gonna be my next canvas piece I think!!

Started meeting key folk this week, lots of info, but its all good.
Am trying to get the youth workers sorted for the youth work conference this year. We are going to eastbourne as Rob Bell will be speaking there - awesome, (the Nooma guy) hint hint Linda...! :)

G if you are reading this, which I do doubt but please get in touch you muffin, otherwise things will get too busy to sort stuff out with you!!!

I have still been battling with people. but this time with the removal men who brought down my stuff from glasgow. They have lost my computer, and are claiming they never picked it up, although my keyboard got here in one piece! and its not at college, and I 99% sure I saw them take it, :( have battled for a week, they are now telling me they will call back and then never do, have come to the conclusion that I wont get it back...the computer was rubbish but its the stuff that was on it which kinda upsets me, oh well...

This week my minister came back from holiday and they have donated to me a never been used single bed, and im now going around for tea most nights, which means cheese cake - normally I would be happy about this but people are always giving me cheese cake for pudding and I have noticed that I have gone up 2 stone which Im not too happy about!!

Tomorrow we have a church picnic - i think it will rain, haha, im organising games for it so this shall be interesting!! hehe
I have a range of meetings and chilling watching dvds this week - I gave in and bought a heap of dvds :s hehe...

Anyway I could keep on talking and it wouldnt be too interesting so Im gonna head.

wow,
been reading some stuff in 1 Corninthians ch 15 and 16 - check it out,

things here are almost too good to be true, the young people are fantastic, church folk fantastic, I have a gorgeous flat, had an awesome time at soul survivor. I have already worn my clothes in side out (in honour of martha's b'day) as it was in side out day infront of 10,000 people, worn fairy wings and sparkly glitter on my eyes again because of martha - yes it is true, I have really embraced what it means to be a youth worker!! have been driving around bletchley, shopping in IKEA and putting it altogether my self - are you impressed, no guys need here! I have battled with showers and estate agents, run through torrential rain and thunder storms, and this is all within my first week of work!!! Cant wait to see what next week has in store for me!

I had always been a bit iffy about S.S and to some degrees there were a few things where I kinda giggled at when it was quiet - 'Thats, the Lord!!' Our young people say this now whenever anything happens, as Mike Pillovatchi said that every couple of minutes when ''The spirit was working, or moving'' hehe. my bro and tim would get on really well with them!!

The rest of this week I will be in the office, as I cant get internet at home yet. Sunday I will try and see what the summer sunday school is like, and meet some folk :)

Tue my sister is coming around to stay - cant wait, it will be nice to have a familiar face around, will order in pizzas and watch movies or something :) YAY!

Well Im here in bletchley :)

Its a lovely place, very mellow compared to Glasgow, although people here think the roads are 'pretty wild!' yeah... ok....

I have managed to get my self a wonderful flat, its a lot more than I was wanting to pay per month, but it does come with some groovy furniture, and the location is perfect so I can cope with less money for now.
I have been put on Mark's insurance - so watch out world! hehe, i'll do some refresher courses, dont worry mum.
Mark is kinda like my collegue, he is a anglican minister/priesty person, but took time out from all that to head up the childrens and youth work, so he's now passed that onto me - hes a great guy, and his kids are adorable! His wife cooks a great lasagne, so good things all round!

I already have a huge folder that has been handed down to me for the kids club, my brain is hurting, there is massive amounts to come to grips with, but all in time....

Tomorrow we head off to soul survivor for 4 days. We are coming back late sunday as we have a funeral on the mon. One of the older girls mum died last week from an on going illness, so thats on mon. We all wanted to be there to support here. She was on the interviewing pannel for me, so I know here a bit - she is also coming to S.S which will be good to get to know thm even more.

Well im back in the uk, im with Jo in London.

My last week in Oz was cool I was with Jared and Rose all week. Hes a nice guy, they really welcomed me in, we got on ok, so not sure why he wont see her family, im still puzzled on that one?
We went to Byron Bay, was a gorgeous day, so we did a bit of sunbathing :)
We also went hill walking, and on friday we went to these rainforests which over looked the glass house mountains, wonderful views!
Did you know that the French got to Austrailia first, but took one look and were like 'Nah, this is rubish' if they had gone over the next hill they would have seen lush lands hehe. Doh!

On our way back we also went to a wildlife sanctuary where we saw koalas and kangaroos and other cool animals and tropical birds, it was a little grey and a little cold, but was still a great day. We rode on a little train, hehe...

So got back early wed morning, the plane journey was quite unbearable!! so very glad to get on the ground!
Went to Bletchley yesterday to meet people. We saw some flats and we looked at another building for the church, and then the minister and his family took me out for pizza and cookies! We looked around M.K its a great place!

Am back to glasgow monday lunch time, and then heading up to inverness to see mum and dad for a while - yay, cant wait to get home...

G'day!
Got back from Sydney yesterday, was so awesome, have so many pics! Touched the opera house, walked across the bridge, touched a sharks egg, travelled on the monorail and stood under a giant charactacture of the queen. Random! sorry, dont know how to flip it :s but you get the idea...
It was a really good few days and we packed in alot but had sooo much time to chill in the mornings and evenings. Our highlights were actually not well known places in Sydney. We must have spent all afternoon at the Aquarium, it was awesome!!and great value for money... (thats where the shark egg comes in) Rose managed to stroke a baby shark, it was so cute.
Saw a croc getting fed, totally gross, but you couldnt help but stand in wonder...

I found Nemo! Hehe.
The other deal of the week was the chinese gardens, so relaxing. It is built on the Darling harbour near the aquarium, its enclosed but you can see the highrise buildings in sydney it was great stuff, so beautiful. A definate highlight and a huge recomendation if you go out there only $6 which is under 3 pounds!Great.

Had a very relaxing day today, it rained! for the first time :( ah well it was ok nothing was planned so we watched old movies and we decided to do a scrap book for rose.
We are collecting song lyrics, verses with loads of craft and art things and are going to creatively put them on pages. Its her b'day soon, so we are going to do different pages and write a little letter to convey our thoughts.
She is a very visual and musical person so a cd will come with it, a collection of music that has a theme of feeling lost, but finding God.
She feels abandoned, and so we want to remind her of God's love and our love, and she is not alone - the psalms are full of this stuff, so we want to include that kinda thing.
If anyone has any advice or verses that you think might help her feel peace and find healing, or any songs I would really appreciate help. Please pray for her, there are huge struggles going on.
Anyway that was really heavy! Sorry!!
Plans for the next few days is to chill, spending the week with rose and jared from mon-thur, so that should be cool :)

Hello!
This is going to be a quick one as we need to head to be early as we have an early flight to sydney! yay!
Over the last few days we have been up at Noosa, where the Cases grandparents are, and wonderful beaches.
We had fish and chips along the river and then went and sunbathed on the beach for the afternoon on monday. We got ice cream, and then came back and watched some movies.
Today we went 'bush walking' there is a natural park behind the sea over looking it and going higher and higher, it was great, here's a pic...

Rose and I went for a walk along the river, got some pics of some pelicans! hehe
For those who know the situation can you pray for me as we head to sydney, that God would give me the words to say and the wisdom to be able to speak to rose. I am also staying with rose and her fiance next week which im abit nervous about, so prayer for that would be appreciated :)

Hello!
Well I have had my first week here in Oz, and so far the sun has shone, and I have seen some weird and wonderful wildlife, and have seen some animals too! lol
I have just had a week of camp up at Mt tamborine (or something like that) it was lovely we had parrots sitting out our window every day, chirping away! here's a pic...

Anyway camp was ok, great bunch of girls in our dorm! They were pretty hyper and when it came to dorm inspections they were quite busy doing their hair so betty and I did most of it, but it was a lot of fun! :)

We got back from camp on Fri, and today we went up some Mountain which looked over Brisbane; as far as the eye can see, it was awesome, and at sunset, a little cold but well worth it. Beautiful views...

29th, 30th, 1st July

Well I am here and well. A little sleepy, but am getting through. The first three days have been great! Got into Brisbane at 8.30am and had the Cases waiting for me. Rose had arranged a bunch of roses for me, and Ian was there waiting with the camera!

We came back to WEC Headquarters and we then went out shopping, got a USB and some things for camp - very nice! We went out around Brisbane, its a lovely clean place which has been designed for walks and places to sit in the sun, was beautiful, didnt manage to get pics, but will do another day.

Today and yesterday has been prep days for camp, so its been a lazy couple of days which has been great. Chris has really had me well fed and watered. We had pumkin soup today :s it was nice... it was smooth at least, hehe

Me, Yvette and Coralie have been sitting outside doing some embrodery for some bandanas for camp for the girls who are going to be in our village, it is so warm, was wearing a black t.shirt - bad idea have a bit of a headache, hehe.

Rose is coming over in a bit, so we are going to get out some films and watchsome tonight. Its Chris's b'day so will get something out for her and eat things called clinkers... they are like pieces of edinbourgh rock covered in chocolate, a bit weird but they are nice.

We are off to camp tomorrow for a week so will catch up then, for now this has been brought to you by the Kat Productions :)

Well that was my last sunday at NMBC, was a little sad but I know that it is time to move on :)
The sun was out and it was a lovely day. Edge was great and got a little send off in the morning service which was nice :)

Still cant get that picture of icc folk on here?Any suggestions?
Need to pack up the computer and things now anyway so you probably wont here from me now untill I actually get out there. Cant wait! Yay!
